Development Operations Coordinator

The Israel Center for Educational Innovation (ICEI) is expanding our Resource Development Team! ICEI operates whole-school turnaround programs in underperforming Jewish and Arab elementary schools serving low-income communities throughout Israel. Our mission is to transform school culture, leadership, and instruction so that every child develops strong literacy and learning skills, setting them up for higher academic success and a better future.

The Role

The Development Operations Coordinator is the engine behind ICEI’s fundraising work, owning the systems, data, and behind-the-scenes coordination that enable the Director and Deputy Director to focus on building donor relationships and driving strategy. This is a high-impact, detail-driven role for someone who loves making operations run smoothly. The role will report to the Deputy Director of Development. This full-time hybrid position includes two days a week at the ICEI office in Kfar Saba, with occasional hours at events.

Responsibilities

  • Data maintenance: Maintain Salesforce and Monday.com records, keeping data up-to-date and documenting processes
  • Grant coordination: Monitor donor portals and upload budget and narrative information, ensuring timely and complete grant submissions and reports
  • Gift tracking: Monitor donation platforms for gift activity, tracking received and expected philanthropic revenue, in coordination with CFO
  • Communications support: Draft routine donor and prospect correspondence, follow-up materials, and stewardship notes; build presentations for donor meetings and events; maintain up-to-date English website content
  • Prospecting: Build and maintain donor and prospect research profiles
  • Logistics: Coordinate logistics for donor visits in Israel and back-end planning for fundraising trips abroad
  • Support general fundraising efforts, including events, special projects, and campaigns, as an integral part of the ICEI Development team

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in an operations, coordination, or nonprofit development support role
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel – required; Experience with Salesforce (CRM), Monday.com (task management), and Claude (AI) – strong advantage
  • Languages: Fluent English writing and fluent Hebrew conversation – required; Hebrew writing skills and/or Arabic comprehension – an advantage
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Identification with the organization’s mission
